There will be no formal practice next Saturday at the Dayton dojo. However, several members have elected to come and open the dojo for an unofficial practice for anyone who wants to join in. Our next scheduled practice will be January 10, 2009.

Many thanks to Mr. Young Park, Mudokwan Kendo Dojo, Indianapolis, for the use of the dojo, and for the excellent lunch, and for the dinner party after the tournament. This was also Nagata-sensei's last practice with ECUSKF. He is returning to Japan, but hopefully will be able to return to practice with ECUSKF again. Many thanks to Nagata-sensei who served as Coach for the ECUSKF Team at the AUSKF National Championships in Las Vegas in July, 2008. His experience and teachings have been invaluable to the members of ECUSKF and we will miss him greatly and look forward to his return.
