Steve Johnson Cup

The Steve Johnson Tournament was founded in 2004 after Steve's untimely death in October

of that year. He was a most valuable member of the Miami Valley Kendo Club as well as a great

teacher. Since Steve had achieved sandan rank, the cup is awarded to the ECUSKF member who

wins the 1-dan to 3-dan individual matches. The cup is presented to the winner at the ECUSKF

Christmas Party. The winner keeps it for 1 year and his or her name is engraved on the cup.
